Bhutte ki Sabzi

Ingredients for Bhutte ki Sabzi to serve 4 adults:
1.      2 cobs (farm fresh bhutta) of corn neither very soft nor very hard. In case cobs are not available, grind 1 cup of sweet corn available with ½ cup milk.
2.      1.5 glassees of water.
3.      2 green chilies, chopped in small pieces.
4.      1 teaspoon salt.
5.      1.5 teaspoon sugar.
6.      ½ teaspoon turmeric (Haldi).
7.      ½ teaspoon red chili powder.
8.      ½ teaspoon each of rye (mustard seeds) and Jeera (Cumin seeds).
9.      Pinch of Asafoetida (Heeng).
10.  Few coriander leaves.
11.  1.5 tablespoons oil.
12.  ¼ teaspoon garam masala.
How to prepare Bhutte ki Sabzi:
1.      Grate the corn cobs.
2.      Heat oil in a frying pan.
3.      Add rye, jeera, heeng and chopped green chilies.
4.      Add grated corn and stir for 2-3 minutes.
5.      Add water, salt, sugar, turmeric and red chili powder.
6.      Keep stirring well and don’t cover the mixture with a lid.
7.      Cook on low flame until grains are cooked and the mixture becomes thick.
8.      Put off the flame; sprinkle garam masala, decorate with and coriander.
