Recipe to make Sewaiyan ki Kheer
Ingredients for Sewaiyan ki Kheer to serve four adults:
1. 1 liter full cream milk.
2. 100 grams vermicelli (sewaiyan).
3. ¾ cup sugar.
4. 4-5 threads of saffron (Kesar).
5. ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder.
6. 4 almonds and 4 pistachios thinly sliced or chopped.
7. Resins (Kishmish)
How to prepare Sewaiyan ki Kheer:
1. Roast vermicelli (sewaiyan) in a frying pan with 1 teaspoon of ghee.
2. Add milk and keep stirring.
3. Let it boil for ½ and hour.
4. Add sugar and saffron (Kesar).
5. Boil for another 5 minutes.
6. Add cardamom powder.
7. Garnish with dry fruits and resins (kishmish).
8. Serve steaming hot or chilled, as desired.
