Recipe to make Gajar Ka Halwa
Gajar Ka Halwa
Ingredients for making Gajar Ka Halwa:
1.      500 grams carrots (Gajar).
2.      1 liter full cream milk.
3.      350 grams sugar.
4.      100 grams Mawa/Khoya optional.
5.      1 tablespoon ghee.
6.      Chopped dry fruits, strands of saffron (Kesar), Resins (Kishmish), cardamom powder.
How to make Gajar Ka Halwa:
1.      Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
2.      Heat ghee in a frying pan.
3.      Add grated carrots to it. Roast for 7-8 minutes to dehydrate carrots.
4.      Pour milk in the frying pan.
5.      Boil until all the milk is absorbed by the carrots.
6.      Add sugar and mawa/khoya to it.
7.      Stir till the consistency is not liquid.
8.      Decorate with dryfruits, cardamom and saffron.
