Recipe to make Chawal ki Kheer:

Ingredients for making Chawal Ki Kheer:
1.      1 liter full cream milk.
2.      75 grams or ¼ cup rice (Chawal) soaked for 1 hour.
3.      ¾ cup sugar.
4.      4-5 threads of saffron (Kesar).
5.      ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder.
6.      4 almonds and 4 pistachios thinly sliced or chopped.
7.      Resins (Kishmish).
How to prepare Chawal ki Kheer:
1.      Keep milk for boiling.
2.      Drain the water from rice and add to milk when it starts to boil. Keep stirring.
3.      Let it boil for ½ and hour.
4.      Add sugar and saffron (Kesar).
5.      Boil for another 5 minutes.
6.      Add cardamom powder.
7.      Garnish with dry fruits and resins (kishmish).
8.      Serve steaming hot or chilled, as desired.
