Matar ke Parathe and Hare Chane ke Parathe

Ingredients for Matar Ke Parathe and Hare Chane ke Parathe to serve four adults:
1.      2 cups green peas (Matar or Hare Chane ke dane), crushed finely, without boiling.
2.      2 green chilies, chopped in small pieces.
3.      1 teaspoon sugar.
4.      1 teaspoon lime juice.
5.      1 inch piece of crushed ginger.
6.      1 teaspoon salt.
7.      1 teaspoon grated saunf.
8.      ½ teaspoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
9.      ½ teaspoon red chili powder.
10.  Few coriander leaves.
11.  Oil for making paratha.
12.  ¼ teaspoon garam masala.
13.  1 cup wheat flour
14.  ½ cup maida.
15.  1 tablespoon oil.
How to make Matar ke Parathe and Hare Chane ke Parathe:
1.      Heat 1 tablespoon oil.
2.      Add cumin seeds (jeera), salt, crushed ginger and pieces of green chili.
3.      Add crushed green peas or gram (Hare Chane).
4.      Keep stirring for 3 minutes.
5.      Add red chili powder, turmeric, saunf and sugar.
6.      Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame and keep aside.
7.      Mix atta, maida 1 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoon oil to form medium stiff dough.
8.      Roll a roti, put a little green pea/green gram mixture and wrap it back into a ball of atta.
9.      Roll a paratha again with a rolling pin.
10.   Roast it as a normal paratha.
11.  Serve it with curd, rayta and neembu ka achar (sweet lime pickle).
