1. 300 grams rawa or suji.
2. 200 grams pure ghee for frying
3. 100 grams pure ghee to mix in dough
4. 200 grams powdered sugar
5. ½ cup milk
6. 100 grams mawa
7. Elaichi or cardamom powder
8. Chopped almonds, pista and Kishmish (resins), saffron.
How to make Rawa ka Laddos:
1. Mix rawa, 100 grams ghee and milk thoroughly to make stiff dough.
2. Make crude balls in fists from this dough.
3. Fry
these balls in ghee at low temperature till the balls are crisp and
pink. Otherwise, these balls can also be baked in oven instead of
frying.
4. Wait until the balls cool to room temperature.
5. These fried/baked balls are to be crushed in a mixer to make coarse but uniform powder.
6. Mix the powder with sugar and mawa or khoya and dry fruits and cardamom.
7. Ghee must be added until the powder can be bound into a laddoo.
8. Decorate with saffron.
